“For a room of a thousand people as well as in an intimate setting, he is original, to the point, playful and with heavy-draught.”
Performing artist Jan van den Berg is able to also engage and bind people outside the theater. Therefore, he is not only an interesting performer but also an inspiring program maker, chairman, moderator and interviewer. In addition, he advises and coaches scientists in preparing and presenting lectures, theater lectures and performances. He also provides workshops and lectures.
Besides a lot of differences, performing artists and scientists have at least one thing in common: the ability to start a work without knowing what the outcome will be and whether the result of their work will ever be materialised and seen. This requires an exceptional dedication and excessive optimism.
